Slingshot Yield is liquid staking for Onyx Testnet. Open the app and choose Yield. The wallet must be on Chain ID 8901. The page asks you to switch when it is on another network.
You stake test XCN and receive stXCN, which represents that staked position. You can hold or transfer stXCN, then unstake it for test XCN. Get the XCN from the Faucet first. The gas for both actions is test XCN.
The Net APY on this page is a test figure. It can change, and it is not the Mainnet staking rate. A paused banner means new staking is paused. Wait until the page accepts a stake again.
Stake
- Open the Stake tab.
- Enter a test XCN amount, or use Max.
- Read the stXCN amount the page expects you to receive.
- Confirm Stake XCN in the wallet.
- Wait for Staking XCN... to finish, then check Your stXCN Balance.
The stake amount has to be greater than zero and within the test XCN balance.
Unstake
- Open the Unstake tab.
- Enter an stXCN amount within your balance.
- Read the test XCN amount the page expects you to receive.
- Confirm Unstake stXCN and wait for the receipt.
A low-reserve warning means the staking contract may not hold enough test XCN for a large unstake. Submit a smaller amount, or wait until the contract is funded again. Contract Health on the page reports the same condition.
After either action
The transaction list on the page shows Staked and Unstaked events for this wallet. Refresh the balances after the receipt. stXCN from this test contract is only a claim on the Testnet staking position. It does not redeem Mainnet XCN.
