Request test XCN for Onyx Testnet from the Telegram faucet bot.

Tokenomics

Onyx Testnet gas is test XCN. The Onyx Testnet Faucet Bot sends it to an address you choose. In Telegram the bot's display name is Onyx Testnet Faucet Bot. Its username is @GoliathFaucetBot.

The username is the existing Telegram identity. Open that bot directly. A different account with a similar name is not this faucet.

Request test XCN

  1. Open @GoliathFaucetBot and send /start.
  2. Copy the 0x address of the test wallet you will connect to Slingshot.
  3. Send:
/request 0xYourAddress xcn

Replace 0xYourAddress with the full address. The xcn argument requests test XCN only.

  1. Wait for the bot's confirmation and transaction hash. The first transfer to an address that has never received XCN can take longer, because the account is created as part of that transfer.
  2. Add Onyx Testnet in the wallet and confirm the test XCN balance before you swap, bridge, or stake.

A successful XCN request sends 10,000 test XCN. The running bot then waits 24 hours before that Telegram account, and that destination address, can receive XCN again. Send /network to read the live amount and cooldown. If you are still inside the wait, the bot replies with the time remaining.

/request <address> with no token name asks for every token the bot currently distributes. For Slingshot gas, request xcn.

The same bot can also send other Onyx Testnet assets and Sepolia test XCN. Those amounts can change. /help is the current list. Everything it sends is a test asset.

When the request does not arrive

  • The address must be a 42-character 0x account. Send the full address, not an ENS name.
  • A cooldown reply means the previous request is still inside the wait. Use the time in that reply.
  • A failed XCN line includes the reason. Wait for that message before you send the command again.
  • Confirm the wallet network is Chain ID 8901. A Mainnet wallet will not show this balance.
